International Conference Green Days 2019: Unlocking Green Growth Potential (UGGP) is large conference that takes place in Podgorica on June 5-6. The conference is organized by the Government of Montenegro, the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and United Nations Development Programme Country Office (UNDP).

For the 2019 edition, we are joined by business leaders from multiple industries, policymakers, international experts, practitioners, academics, NGOs, learners and educators, EU representatives, the media and other relevant entities. The conference will cover a range of topics, such as current trends focusing on the best green economy practices and how those contribute to global Agenda 2030.

UGGP was founded to inspire businesses and governments to invest and build a greener future and amplify the importance of integrating economic and environmental policies in a way that opens the opportunities for new sources of economic growth. Together we have the possibility to put words into action makings the world more connected, sustainable and a better place.

The Conference language will be English and Montenegrin. Simultaneous interpretation services will be arranged during the Conference.


For speakers, facilitators and panelists arriving a day earlier, on Tuesday 4 June, a Welcome Dinner will be organized at the Conference Venue. Participants arriving on the first day of the Conference, on Wednesday 5 June, are encouraged to check-in as soon as possible, following their arrival at the venue, to confirm participation at the cocktail on the evening of June 5, and to receive background information. Given the size of the event, please allow enough time for registration formalities.


Lunch and Gala dinner will be provided for all participants on 5 and 6 June 2019.


Wireless Internet access will be available at the Conference Venue. There is a Business Centre at the Hilton Hotel which is available for participants (free of charge).


Hilton Hotel can make special arrangements to cater for the needs of the guests requiring assistance. Conference organizers are happy to facilitate this as much as possible. If you require special assistance, please contact Ms. Ana Dakovic – ana.dakovic@undp.org


The information below is grouped according to different categories of participants. Please check under which category you fall and proceed with travel and accommodation arrangements accordingly.

1.Speakers, Facilitators and Panelists in the Agenda: The Conference organizer will cover airline tickets, accommodation, including breakfast and coffeee breaks on 5 and 6 June, lunch and Gala dinner on 5 June, as well as transfers between the airport and the hotel. Hotel, travel and airport transfer arrangements will be made and costs covered UNDP Montenegro.
2. Partners - The Conference organizers will cover coffeee breaks on 5 and 6 June, lunch and Gala dinner on 6 June. 3. Other Registered Participants: will make their own hotel bookings/arrangements. The Conference organizer will cover coffeee breaks on both days of the Conference, so as the lunch on 5 and 6 June.

For participants which need to make their own hotel bookings/arrangement price for single room on BB basis in the Hotel Hilton is 60EUR + PDV per night. The hotel rate is reduced price that has been offered to Congress Travel Agency for the participants of this Event. Rates are valid if the rooms are booked through Congress Travel Agency and for a limited number of rooms. Airport transfer arrangements for all speakers, facilitators and panelists in the Agenda will be made and costs covered by UNDP Montenegro.

Taxis: Contingent on traffic, the journey from the airport to the Conference venue takes approximately: 15 minutes, if you are arriving on Podgorica airport and costs around €7 (per vehicle) 90 minutes, if you are arriving on Tivat airport and costs around €50 (per vehicle)
